Personal Message
I feel privileged to give leadership to the evangelising mission of the Catholic Church and school. I believe that a school should provide students with a positive, calm, safe and nurturing environment, through which they learn to treat each other with respect, understanding, tolerance and dignity. I believe that all students are individuals and should be given the chance to learn at their own pace. Children’s strengths should be recognised in order to allow them to grow in confidence, and develop a sense of pride. As an educator I strive to empower students to be the best they can be, equipping them with the knowledge and skills required of them to live purposeful and meaningful lives. 

Statement of Areas of Responsibility
My role requires me to work alongside the Principal and the Parish Priest in order to promote and nurture the Catholic identity and mission of the school. I am responsible for nurturing and leading the faith formation and Religious Education of the students, teachers, parents and community. In my role I provide professional learning opportunities that assist teachers in developing quality teaching and learning pedagogy, as well as ensuring excellence in educational outcomes for all students. 

Professional Experience
Jenny has been the Religious Education Coordinator at St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School Summer Hill since 2016. She is currently in the role of Acting Assistant Principal for a year. Prior to teaching at St Patrick’s, Jenny has worked for Sydney Catholic Schools since 2002.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Education (Primary) – Australian Catholic University, Strathfield
Currently completing a Master of Arts (Theology) – University of Notre Dame
Gifted Education Online Course 1 – Sydney Catholic Schools

Professional Interests
A strong passion for collaboration and inclusiveness in order to develop a school community in which students develop a lifelong love for learning, teachers constantly reflect and strive for best practice in pedagogy and parents feel welcomed and have genuine opportunities for involvement.
