Personal Message
I passionately believe that whatever the question is, the answer is education. Therefore, as educators we must create critical, collaborative and creative problem solvers who, through their faith and action, want to make the world a better place.

Statement of Areas of Responsibility
The principal is responsible for modelling the Catholic faith in action and for leading the school community to live out its vision and mission focused on quality faith, educational and well being experiences for all students. The principal is responsible for the effective leadership, management and strategic direction of the school.

Professional Experience
Jo has been the Principal at St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School Summer Hill since 2015. Prior to this, Jo was Acting Principal and Assistant Principal at St Anne’s Catholic Primary School Strathfield South. Jo has also held leadership roles of Acting Assistant Principal, Leader of Learning and Coordinator and has taught in Catholic schools in the Sydney Archdiocese for 26 years. She has also taught at schools in London and in Iceland. Jo has presented at educational workshops in NSW, particularly in the areas of Literacy and Numeracy.

Professional Interests
Developing effective school wide pedagogical practice to ensure quality education for all learners. Providing contemporary professional learning to grow the capacity of all teachers. Instilling a passion for lifelong learning.
