As an ICT reference teacher I aspire to make a positive difference not only in my own classroom, but also throughout the whole school community. I am passionate about using technology in the classroom to enhance quality teaching practices. The use of ICT is a significant motivational factor in students’ learning and can support students’ engagement with collaborative learning.
The use of a variety of technologies in the classroom allows students to develop the necessary skills and tools to operate in a rapidly changing world. When teachers and students are digitally literate this leads to an opportunity to develop and use creative and critical thinking skills to solve real world problems.
